Religion

The emphasis in the second grade religion curriculum is Coming to Jesus. Second grade is a very important year n your child's faith journey.  All students who are Catholic will be receiving the sacraments of penance, confirmation and holy Eucharist. They will prepare for these sacraments as they learn about these freely given gifts from God. They will be fully initiated into the Catholic Church and learn about what it means to be an active Catholic. The Cathedra of the Madeleine practices the restored order of the sacraments of initiation. Parent information nights are offered to explain this in more detail.
